Wellbeing Wherever

At DSE.Health we believe that worker wellbeing should be protected no matter where they work. At home, on customer sites or in the office.


We offer an integrated Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Training Course and Self Assessment, linked to a Self Assessment Management Platform.

The DSE Training Course and Self Assessment is designed to walk workers through their DSE Assessment and ensure they understand the risks of DSE use, how to set up their workstations and how to look after their own wellbeing, wherever they work. 


The Self Assessment Management Platform is designed to give employers the confidence that workers understand DSE risks and have workstation setups that minimize those risks.

 

Why This Is Important

Poor DSE setups reduce productivity and can lead to serious health issues for workers. 

Furthermore, employers have a legal obligation to ensure workers physical and mental health is not negatively affected by their work. Specifically, under the Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Regulations 1992 Employers are required to:


•  Conduct a workstation DSE Assessment
•  Reduce the risks of DSE
•  Provide eye tests
•  Provide information and training for workers

These regulations apply to office workstations, mobile workers home workers or hot-deskers.

 

DSE.Health can help employers to discharge their Duty of Care to workers by providing integrated training and DSE assessments, linked to DSE risk reduction advice and a platform for managing DSE self Assessments and any issues arising e.g. eye tests, etc.

Working from Home

Working from home has become an ongoing reality for many workers. With home working comes additional risk from DSE related injuries resulting from lack of training and poor DSE setup. 

Legal advice is that while employers could reasonably consider that working from home was temporary in 2020, this is no longer the case in 2021. This has the potential to leave employers vulnerable to litigation and claims.
